USING FATHEAD DOUGH TO MAKE KETO PIZZA POCKETS

Fathead dough is one of those recipes I know by heart because I’m constanting making it. I use it not only to make keto pizza but I love to make keto pizza pockets and calzones with it too. In this video, I show you how to make low carb pizza pockets using fathead dough.

These keto hot pockets don’t take very long to prepare. You can stuff the pockets with your toppings of choice, pepperoni, sausage, vegetables, ham, cheese. It’s a great keto dinner option for busy weeknights and they are perfect for your keto kid’s lunch box.

You can also make your keto pizza pockets to your desired size. Make them big like I did in this video and they are more than enough for a whole meal. Or you can make bite sized pizza rolls for more of a keto appetizer on game day or fun keto snack for your kids.

I’ve mentioned before that the fathead dough can be made ahead of time and frozen so you can make keto pizza or pizza pockets when you are ready. The dough freezes nicely in a ball or you can roll in out into a thin crust first, flash freeze it, then wrap with plastic wrap for freezer storage. These pizza pockets can also be fully prepped and flash frozen for long term storage as well.

KETO FATHEAD DOUGH

10 oz mozzarella cheese
5 oz almond flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder

Bake pizza pocket at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crisp on top.
