Jerky is one of my favorite snacks. I ate it is US and was not aware that I would develope a taste for it. But now, not only do I like it, but I have seen my daughter dig into the jar from time to time. It is a chewy, spicy and flavourful snack. It is wholesome, home made and always ready to eat. There are times I am in a rush and I just grab a few pieces of jerky and head out.
Give this simple recipe a try. It take time to be ready but most of the work is done within minutes. Happy cooking!
Ingredients:
1 kg Buffalo tenderloin/ Any lean meat of your choice
1/3 Cup Light Soya Sauce
1 tsp Barbecue Sauce
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
5 drops of Concentrated Liquid Stevia
